Based on our expansive data base of water wells drilled in central Texas over the past 40 plus years and the extensive reservoir knowledge of our experienced personnel, we work with customers in locating an appropriate site for a prospective water well.  Once the location is established, a well is designed and submersible pump is configured to meet the needs of the customer, based on anticipated water production rates.

Whisenant & Lyle uses a variety of drilling techniques depending on the depth and rock characteristics of the targeted reservoir.  Using modern, well maintained equipment capable of drilling to depths of 1,000 feet, we have the reputation of efficiently completing a productive water well in a minimum amount of time.

Once the well is completed, our experienced staff of professionals works with the customer to design a pumping system that is appropriate for the production capability of the well and the needs of the customer.  As a distributor for several domestic and commercial pumps, we inventory all major parts that may be necessary to respond to a particular specification.  If the application requires a water reservoir, we have extensive expertise in designing and installing storage systems of all varieties.

Whisenant & Lyle maintains a modern fleet of pump service units and support equipment that are capable of meeting the demands of both domestic and commercial customers.  Our highly trained pump installers and technicians have the expertise to analyze and service any problem related to electrical or mechanical issues.  Our crews are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, because we understand the importance of water availability to the customer, whether domestic or commercial.

Whisenant & Lyle has an active and growing underground construction division that specializes in installing and repairing new and existing residential and commercial water and sewer lines and taps for water utilities.  We have the capability to complete longer term scheduled projects that may require bonding, as well as respond to emergency situations when needed.
