Whisenant & Lyle and its predecessor companies were founded in 1963 in Dripping Springs, Texas, where its base of operations remains today. We operate as a full-service water well drilling and pump service contractor in the hill country of Texas with a focus on residential and commercial markets.
The principal operating managers, Ray Whisenant, Jr. and John P. “Pat” Lyle have each been with the company for over 30 years. During this period of time, the company has established a base of customers well in excess of 5,000 and currently has 20 experienced employees.
In the first quarter of 2007, James Winfrey became a majority owner of the company, bringing over 40 years of management, financial and strategic planning experience, as well as additional capital resources to support anticipated growth in the future.
